My name is Deb Fisher. I grew up locally and knew I wanted to be a nurse from the seventh grade when

we studied disease processes in school. Science classes were my favorite.

I attended Central Catholic HS, just a block from where I would spend most of my work career. From there I obtained my nursing license, paramedic license and went on to get my master’s degree in nursing leadership from Lourdes University with my Capstone project researching direct versus indirect laryngoscopy in a confined space. I worked for the Lifeflight/MobileLife Program at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center at the time and we were able to build a simulation aircraft to practice intubation and advanced airway procedures. I transitioned to the Trauma Coordinator position in 2018 and have enjoyed working with the trauma patient from the prehospital setting to hospital discharge.



When I’m not at work, I love spending my free time with family and friends, especially if it is somewhere

warm with sun, sand, blue skies and margaritas.
